Technique Tuesday -New to Old

I have been using this technique all weekend long on a vintage album that is 1/4 way done . This technique is a way of making your diecuts, chipboard, embellishment go from new to vintage old .
What you need :
-Embossing Powders - at least 2
-White fast drying glue
-Embossing gun
-Die cuts, chipboard , your altered item
STEP ONE :
I chose a chipboard frame.
Liberally cover the item completely with the white glue.
STEP TWO :
Sprinkle lighter color of embossing powder over the item and use gun to heat it STEP THREE :
The powder will start bubbling let it ... the more little bubbles the more texture . Heat and bubble to you get the desired look . STEP FOUR
While the item is still HOT sprinkle sparingly the darker color of embossing powder and heat .
For this step one hand is holding the heat gun and the other hand I sprinkle the emboss powder .
Continue till you get the desired look . STEP FIVE :
Your done and ready to use . The below pictures show the texture and effect .
Let your imagination loose and create!
