Welcome to another Mojo Monday! Today's lovely sketch is courtesy of Alda ( me),
with an inspiration layout from CT member Jax.
Jax started by layering on mediums - gesso scraped across the background,
light molding paste through a Prima doily mask and some Shimmerz Spritz in
Bed of Roses.
Have you noticed that when using sprays, applying one layer on top of another can rewet it, leading to muddying? To avoid this, Jax sprayed the layout with Krylon Workable Fixative before adding her next layer of mists, then added Gelatos and stamping, all without compromising the original red spray.
Some closeups:
Call it serendipity, but this piece of paper from Prima's Delight collection
(from the November kit of the month) lent itself beautifully to
the sketch - the borders are a near-perfect match.
