Remember the Tomorrows - Off the Page Project

What sets are  KOM  apart  for the  rest  is that  we  always have the  OTP ( Off the Page)  Goodie for you to try and  create .  This month we are  playing  with  canvas panels and  Gouache Paint

Gouache paint is similar to watercolor but modified to make it an opaque painting medium (non-transparent). A binding agent, usually gum arabic, is present, just as in watercolor. Gouache differs from watercolor in that the particles are larger, the ratio of pigment to water is much higher, and an additional, inert, white pigment such as chalk is also present. This makes gouache heavier and more opaque, with greater reflective qualities.

I played  with the  paint and  the background and then  did a  photo transfer of  the  letters LOVE  ...  ( You need a  laser  printer -  or they work best  for  photo  transfers  and do not  forget to  "mirror" the  image or alpha's ) I  finished  it  off  with  some  bees wax  ...  Hope you enjoy and  have  some  creative  fun  with the   paints and  canvas  ...  for  more inspirational  pieces  - head on over  to the  forums  and   see  what the   creative  team is up to
