Atc Swap

Art is the most intense mode of                            individualism that the world has known.
Defined by Wikipedia :
Artist trading cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern trading cards baseball cards,[1] or 2 12 by 3 12 inches (64 mm × 89 mm),[2] small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets.[3] The ATC movement developed out of the mail art movement and has its origins in Switzerland.[4] Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc.) or even metals or fiber. The cards are usually traded or exchanged. When sold, they are usually referred to asart card editions and originals (ACEOs).

We have a swap on the forums  for  Artist trading cards -  and  what  I love of  about this - is that they are small enough that they do not take a long time to create - unless you are me and  everything takes forever but, it  gives you a chance to see  the artistic creations of your  friends up close and personal - and  seeing it in real life - is  so much different than  pictures on line.

So if you are not member on our  forums then why not  join? We  have a great  bunch of  ladies, creative team members that share on a weekly basis  their techniques,  challenges to inspire, and  a whole  lot  more...  Its a  great  place to share your artistic  creations  and make  some new friends.  So  do not  be  shy - Come join us !

I made  this with a  lot of scrap little papers - Gesso,Gold distress paint, copper stickles, and zva bling.
