Mojo Monday

Welcome to Mojo Monday! Today we have a beautiful sketch by Alda to inspire you, and a whimsical interpretation by Jax to get your creative juices flowing.

Inspiration comes in many forms, and Jax was inspired to create this canvas based on the Disney movie Frozen when playing with clay with her young sons, despite the heat of summer.

Because she was using one main focal point instead of the two in the photo, Jax snapped the Prima resin frame in two (easy enough to do by placing it against the corner of a desk and pushing down) and laid the two pieces on an angle inspired by the placement of the two photos.

The 13 Arts Microspheres from the July Your Passion, Your Art kit are fantastic for adding a little extra punch to your projects. Jax used them in two places, on the Thicker alphas and on the background and misted over them to bring out their texture.

Play along for your chance to win!
