Play Date Thursday - An Open Book

 Christmas is not an
eternal event at all,
but a piece of one's home
 that one carries
in one's heart. -  Freya Stark

Its Playdate Thursday - so lets play!!

There are times when a simple square or rectangle card just gets boring and  we need to spice up our mojo  - so lets get going!

I have created this "open book" card that can act as the actual card (since I embellish way to much to close it) or if you are the clean and simple type when you have  the  base done you will see that you can  decorate the  outside of the "book card" and the inside will be that like a story book.

The template is below - just click on it and save it to your computer or you can head over to the  file tab in the forums and  download it in  pdf format . If you have any questions send me a note !  Happy creating !

G The die cut images are  from the new Pion Collection Days of Winter. everything is edged with Ingvlid's Bolme Chalk Inks - love them way too much ...adding that  vntage feel  to the card book.

Christmas Past

“When we recall Christmas past, we usually find that the

simplest things - not the great occasions - give off the

greatest glow of happiness.”

― Bob Hope

One of the child's teachers loves the Victorian Era and the  New Pion Paper - Days of Winter is  a perfect  collection  to capture Christmas past.  Handmade roses, dusted in diamond dust along with a  few poinsettias and a little  strand of pearls just adds to the  old fashion feel .
