This week's Mojo Monday sketch is designed by Tammy, with an inspiration layout by Jax.
Jax used papers from the 7 Dots Studio Wonderland collection, and built on the gorgeous, rich tones of the papers using mists, paint and embossing powder.
The Wonderland papers have a lot of subtle texture built into them; Jax built on this texture by layering Ceramic Stucco, molding paste, cheesecloth, lace and drywall tape and then adding the color directly onto the page with Lindy's Stamp Gang and Tattered Angels mists and Silks Acrylic Glazes and Luminarte Primary Elements.

The chipboard letters were treated with Aged Silver Embossing Enamel and a Prima script stamp was pushed into them while they were still warm, then they were lightly painted over with Luminarte Primary Elements in Mystique mixed with Acrylic Glaze. The Gold Wired Beads in the clusters are a versatile trim, and can also be touched with paint to tie the layout together.
Have you tried painting your metal adornments and wooden accents? The Flying Unicorn Adornment, Prima Engraver wood buttons and even the black and white Prima Breton vine were all painted with Luminarte Silks and Primary Elements to add some more color to the layout. The Ingvild Bolme gears were added to the metal flower using Glossy Accents.
You can play along with this beautiful sketch until 8pm EST on Sunday, June 9th. Standard Flying Unicorn Rules apply. You may use your stash, products do not have to have been purchased at the Flying Unicorn Store.
