CSI #48 and Flying Unicorn

Case Number  48 is up and  running strong!  Though this is the  last week we are  sponsering this  year , it  surely does not  mean that you and I can not  continue to play along.   Just  take a gander at the incredible palette that  this  week has  to offer and  journaling  ideas and  inspiration to help you along !

Using the above  palette-  here is  my  inspirational layout

Dad always told me a cup of tea will solve the problems of the day. So if I am having a bad moment you will find me having a cup of tea and escaping the problems of the day . Journaling is well hidden behind the half circle which includes dad-isms and the rules I was brought up with - Never go to bed angry, Never leave the house without kissing the ones you love, your word is your bond, if you go into business always own 51% of the shares, and have a cup of tea to solve your problems.

products used are from the flying Unicorn store - Paper by Bobunny – Country Garden Collection, Riddersholm, Leaves Cottage Cutz Die, handmade flowers, Flying Unicorn Flowers, MS Punch, Magnolia Diecut, ZVA bling.

CSI #47

Thanksgiving 2011 at Jay’s House . It’s a long story and journaling is on the back but short version , being a Vegetarian 2010 Thanksgiving was at my house and I served a Tofu Turkey . That was the last year that I was able to host Thanksgiving, no one was happy with me ..and Jay took over. The dinner setting is as important as the meal and lucky I still was in charge of that. Products used are from the Flying Unicorn Store – Papers by Prima – Nature’s Garden and Fairy Belle, Flowers by Petaloo, Prima, Flying Unicorn and Manor House. Resin Pieces homemade.

Flying Unicorn is sponsoring  CSI this month and  thrilled that  we are!

My  inspiration layout   for  Case #45
I love my bedroom and the oversized library chairs that are placed right beside the large windows. You will find me curled up reading a book escaping into a world with my nook every night before I sleep. My journaling is hidden on a library card tag which tells the story of the countless times I have to remind the child that the bedroom is mine and mine not alone and is not a room to play his guitar in or take a nap or play on his ipad. It is a not a “we” room it is a “my” place. Products are from the Flying Unicorn store - paper: BoBunny Et Cetera Collection, Coredination cardstock, Pink Paislee Alphas, Cottage Cutz dies, MS punch, Flying Unicorn Flowers and handmade flowers
