Mojo Monday Sketch and Inspiration

Its a Magic Mojo Monday! 

Oh the creation and inspiration this week is endless. Use the sketch to scrap the first day of school or the last days of summer to making a mixed art canvas - just let it inspire! 

This week the sketch was designed by me, Alda and a dynamite inspiration layout by Song. So lets get creative !

When you create with a sketch you don't necessarily have to follow the sketch 100% and copy everything shape for shape and embellishment for embellishment.

You can take pieces of that sketch and go with it.

Michelle has taken inspiration from the diamond shape, the film strip, the embellishment cluster,

 the butterfly and then she created a  masterpiece.

Mojo Monday Scrapbook Sketch

Every Summer has a story. This week our Mojo Monday is about that one special summer memory. Capture it, scrap it and not only in your heart but in the pages of our artistic creations will it live on . Happy Mojo Monday! Wow can't believe we are already into August! Today we have a inspirational LO done by CT member Tammy and Sketch by me Alda.

Tammy used the August KOM to create her LO. Clean and simple LO but effective to showcase a photo of her daughter. She altered the white Lettering on the paper to make it pop forward and stand out against the white doodling. She also used the Prima stencil that was in the Mixed Art August KOM to enhance the  corners of the LO. Super fun and sweet page! Here are a couple of close ups of this LO.

Happy Mojo Monday !!!

Long summer days are upon us and hope  you all are enjoying the sun, salt air and surf !!! Capture the moment and create a wonderful layout of summer of '15 using this week's sketch created by me. Denise has given  us all further summer loving inspiration using this week's sketch. 

For this week's Mojo Monday, Denise chose to use some of her favorite products from 13 Arts! The paper is Summer Snow from their "Mental Vacation" collection. For the background work some Indigo Mist was mixed with Magic Powder to create colored paste for the Prima Stone Wall Stencil. A few stamps and some splatters with 13 Arts Turquoise Water Ink finished off the background. Asst. flowers were covered with Gesso and then painted with Indigo Mist.

To add some texture. some Golden Gloss Gel was added randomly and 13 arts Grit Sand was added. Love the look!
