Christmas Wish

 A Christmas Wish
Is Sent Your Way
To
Wish You
A Wonderful
Christmas Day!

Of course we needed to make a pink Christmas card!  Digital Stamp by Sylvia Zet  and  colored using  Spectrum Noir Markers.   The  papers, those are from my stash  again - using  things  up-its the  Scrap Cake Collection One Moment in Time   - and  we have a few sheets still left in the store -  they really make  for a pretty shabby soft vintage Christmas look.

Easel Card Challenge

This  month on  the  forums  our  Card and  tag Challenge  is to make and Easel Card  - and  what  fun  I  had  creating this one  . .. I pulled  out  my  favorite of all time  paper  line  from the  Scrap Cake  - a  digi  stamp. Spectrum markers  ( love  those  and  I own  copics  too  but  spectrum  is hot!)   and  lots  of  handmade  flowers   using   die cut  and punches

A  simple  hello  friend  card  which can be used for any occasion.

When you close an  easel card  the   closed  portion  to me  is  so  " empty and undone"  so  I dressed it  up .  I did  not  use any  words  since  closed the letters would  be proper  but  opened they  would  be upside  down  .. instead  I use a  simple  decoration to  give it that  finished touch.

Dance with Me till the End of Love

Come  Join the  challenge  fun over at the  forums    This  month  I am  hosting History, the  Greats and Art   which challenges your creativity and   inspires your  muse ! Paper is from The  Scrap Cake -One  Moment  in Time Collection, available  in the store

My inspiration layout was done using Jack Vettriano's painting calledDance Me Till The End of Love

The painting Just about everyone wants to meet someone & fall in love . Ideally that very same person will still be there with you to the very end when you take your last breath & get ready to express your final goodbyes. Although this is a dream for many, it is a reality for the few. This piece by Jack Vettriano is entitled “Dance Me to the End of Love.” 3 colors (black, white, & blue) are used here with a touch of a faint yellow sun in the distance. Her white gown balances out his black suit against the misty blue surrounding. The great thing about this couple is that they are facing towards the direction of the light above…& in my perspective hopeful to dance not until the end, but forever together.

I know Hopeless romantic am I ....
